Business Hours and Holidays

  • Configure Global Business Hours

    Contacto lets you set business hours for your organization or for individual departments or regions, ensuring that incoming calls are routed to the appropriate teams at the appropriate times.

    1. Navigate to Routing → Business Hours
    2. In the top right corner of the page, click Create New Business Hours
    3. Fill out the operational schedule details. Provide a friendly name, which can be the name of a business unit, a country, or a team. Then, specify the time zone and schedule by day, indicating when your business is available each day of the week.
    4. If the same time applies to all the working days, you can select the days and click on Copy to All.
    5. Click Next Step to specify holidays.
      You can select the holiday schedule from the drop-down menu, which includes all of the holidays you've created under Settings → Holidays.
    6. When you're finished, click Save Changes.
  • Defining Custom Holidays
    1. Navigate to Settings > General Settings > Holidays.
    2. Here you can add new holidays to the master list by clicking on the holiday and then Add New Holiday at the top of the pane. Screen_Shot_2022-01-14_at_9.57.41_AM.png
    3. Enter the name and date of the Holiday, then choose the availability, either closed all day or partially open.  If you choose partially open, you can configure the specific hours your organization is open.

    4. Click Add to create the Holiday.
    5. You can delete holidays from the list by clicking on the trash icon:
